Michael Douglas Talks Quantumania Schedule And Having Fun

Michael Douglas talks Quantumania schedule in a recent interview for his current project The Kaminsky Method with Deadline. Douglas is already confirmed to be reprising his role as Hank Pym in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and now he’s let us in on when he begins shooting the threequel. Douglas also talks about how much fun it is to make these Ant-Man movies compared to the projects he’s worked on before. Here is what he had to say when asked what film was the most fun to work on.

“Probably the Ant-Man films. You’re just such a small part, but you have all the incredible special effects going on and green screens. And you spend half the time putting dots on your face. It was a whole different type of filmmaking. I’ve never done any special effects movies before, or any sort of green screen. Paul Rudd was wonderful, Evangeline [Lilly] was great, and all of the other co-stars. That was a lot of fun. We’re starting at third one now. We’re going to London to do an Ant-Man 3 in July.”

Considering pre-production is already underway on Quantumania, I’m surprised Douglas won’t be filming till July. Perhaps that is just Douglas himself that’s not needed till July? It’s possible stars Rudd and Lilly might have to show up earlier, but I could be dead wrong on that.

I’m also glad Douglas thinks these movies’ are fun to make, because there is more chance for him to stick around. I could definitely see Marvel Studios eventually killing off Pym, an to be fair that would present great drama for Hope to process. However, not yet, lets keep Douglas having fun for a while longer.

What do you think of his comments as Michael Douglas talks Quantumania? Any thoughts, leave them below as always.
