Michael Myers Is Back In Halloween Kills In A Brutal Trailer

Halloween Kills

One of our favorite horror icons is ready to make his return to the big screen this fall. We are talking about none other than the evil and homicidal Michael Myers in Halloween Kills. Back in 2018, Halloween became the highest-grossing chapter in the four-decade franchise. It earned over $250 million worldwide. This is significant because it set the record for the biggest opening weekend in history for a horror film starring a woman.

Today Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for Halloween Kills. You can check it out below.

Michale Myers is going to have quite the headcount (what a surprise right?). Just in this trailer, we see him take out a number for folks. I will say that I am a little disappointed in this. Save some of those shots for the actual film! But there are some awesome shots here. Specifically the one of Michael Myers coming out of the fire. If you into the genre it looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun.

Here is the synopsis for Halloween Kills:

And the Halloween night when Michael Myers returned isn’t over yet.

Minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor.

But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster.

The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all.

Evil dies tonight.

Halloween Kills brings back the team from the 2018 global phenomenon. It’s directed by David Gordon Green and produced by Malek Akkad, Jason Blum, and Bill Block. Written by Scott Teems, Danny McBride, and David Gordon Green. Based on the characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill.
