The latest round of Marvel Barside Buzz has some Thunderbolts, Midnight Sons , Avengers 5 and Secret Wars rumors to mull over. The info comes from Daniel RPK on Patreon. However some of what is here is back up for rumors started elsewhere. Let’s just start there then with Midnight Sons. Yesterday we covered a rumor from MTTSH that said Midnight Sons film is still coming. RPK backs this up. A Midnight Sons project is indeed in development. He also says Michael Giacchino in one of the directors currently eyed by Marvel to helm the movie.

RPK also backed up some info from DCULeaks on Twitter. Namely that Stephen Broussard (asoc. producer on The Incredible Hulk, co-producer on The First Avenger, exec producer on Iron Man 3, All Hail the King, Doctor Strange, Loki, Werewolf by Night and Echo and producer on Ant-Man and the Wasp as well as Quantumania) is the Marvel exec overseeing/producing Midnight Sons.

Now onto Thunderbolts and RPK says it will start filming in March with pre-production starting next week. Again not brand new news and we kinda knew March was the kick off for this one. However RPK also backs up another claim we’ve covered previously. Namely that Harrison Ford is NOT in the film and has nothing to do with the plot. He hears Yelena, Val and Sentry are the center of the film. Also that there is no plan to make the movie rated R.

We also have some rumors around Avengers 5 and Secret Wars. Specifically related to Deadpool and Wolverine. RPK says the plan was not to include Deadpool and Wolverine in Avengers 5, only Secret Wars. However, seemingly Feige is having second thoughts as they are still rewriting the two Avengers films. He was apparently very impressed with what he saw from Deadpool and Wolverine so far.

Finally RPK says the plan is for Armor Wars to begin filming in 2025.
