Mike Hatton is a natural comedian.
In most movies, he tries to bring in a comedic flavor into the project with his characters. With action film Paydirt that also stars Luke Goss and Val Kilmer, he even brought the funny jokes.
As Geoff Bentley, aka The Brain, Hatton plays the witty member of an old criminal crew. Amongst the serious characters, he provides the humor along with Tony, aka The Brawn (played by Paul Sloan).
The film is about a parolee who teams up with his old crew determined to find a buried bag of cash stolen five years from a DEA bust gone bad while being tracked by a retired sheriff. With this retired sheriff’s obsession on the parolee, it leads to a very eventful showdown in the middle of the desert.
Christian Sesma (Vigilante Diaries) wrote and directed the film. The film also features the feature film acting debut of Mercedes Kilmer, who acted in scenes alongside her father, Val Kilmer.
