Mission: Impossible 7 – First Image Of Kittridge Since 1996’s First Film

Mission: Impossible 7 is doing, well, the impossible. The latest chapter features the return of  Agent Eugene Kittridge (Henry Czerny), a character we have not since since the first film in the franchise.

If I’m not forgetting anyone, this makes Kittridge only the 3rd character from Mission: Impossible to return to the franchise. The other two are, of course, Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt and Ving Rhames as Luthor.

Christopher McQuarrie shared the moody image on his Instagram, with Simon Pegg commenting, “Welcome back sir.”

For those who need a refresher, Kittridge was on the hunt for, well, Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible. Kittridge thought Hunt was the mole, leaving Ethan to find the real mole before is captured.

Now, Hunt often going rogue or being wanted by the government is a staple of the franchise.  Yet, I really hope the two men are on the same side this time!
