The Synopsis
Daniel (Morgan Freeman, “Invictus”) is brought together with Allison (Florence Pugh, “The Falling”), the once thriving young woman with a bright future who was involved in an unimaginable tragedy that took his daughter’s life. As grief-stricken Daniel navigates raising his teenage granddaughter and Allison seeks redemption, they discover that friendship, forgiveness, and hope can flourish in unlikely places.
Molly Shannon left Ohio to study drama at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. After graduating she relocated to Los Angeles, Where she did restaurant hostessing and food deming at a local grocery store while seeking her opportunity in the entertainment industry. Shannons first major film was playing the supporting role, Meg in the 1989 horror film, The Phantom of the Opera remake with Robert Englund. She went on making appearances on television projects like the original Twin Peaks series and In Living Color.
The big break in Shannon’s career was in 1995, when she joined Saturday Night Live and remained for six successful seasons. During her time in SNL she created some favorite personalities like Mary Katherine Gallagher. The character was such a hit that it got its own film in 1999, Superstar with Will Ferrell as her co-star. The actress is known for several other projects, including Never Been Kissed, Scary Movie 4 and Other People.
