Moon Knight Is A Limited Series Oscar Isaac Seemingly Confirms

Moon Knight Directors Hype Episode 4 Of The Show

Moon Knight is a limited series according to a statement from star Oscar Isaac in a recent interview with Variety. Isaac and fellow actor Jared Leto chatted together with the trade. Eventually talk turned their upcoming entries into the superhero world. Isaac said the following.

“I’d never heard of “Moon Knight” before, and I collected comics when I was younger. I’d heard of “Morbius,” but I’d never heard of “Moon Knight.” I don’t know how the process was for you because it’s a feature film, we’re a limited series. There was a lot of room to try stuff because there wasn’t the pressure that we got to make sure we make however many hundreds of millions of dollars on the opening weekend. So we could make it very point-of-view. We could make very weird decisions. At the moment, at least — and I don’t imagine it’s going to go backwards — it feels like that’s where more of the risk is being taken because it can financially.”

Now this is hardly surprising news. So far from all the Marvel shows on Disney+, we have only had two that went into a Season 2. Those being Loki and What If? Marvel Boss Kevin Feige told fans way back that their shows will be a mix of limited and multi season depending on the story being told.

With no plans for a season 2, fans will of course wonder where we will see Isaac as Marc Spector again? Given all the supernatural content coming to the MCU over the next few years I’m sure there will be opportunities. Who knows, if Moon Knight is popular it could lead to a Moon Knight movie? Or, potentially a second season somewhere down the line? Being classified as limited really only has an affect on the awards categories anyway.

Are you surprised or not that Moon Knight is a limited series? Leave any thoughts on Oscar Isaac’s comments below as always.
