In a recent interview with EW Tom Holland says he’s had conversations about future Spider-Man movies. However, he does stress that at this time that’s it, conversations only and there is no deal in place.
“We’ve had conversations about the potential future of Spider-Man, but at the moment they are conversations,” Holland tells EW on the road to promote his latest movie, Uncharted. “We don’t know what the future looks like.”
Kevin Feige and Sony boss Tom Rothman are “thinking of something” with Sony’s Amy Pascal. “But at this moment I don’t know what that is,” Holland adds.
I honestly don’t think there’s any question that Holland will don the spandex again for a Spider-Man 4. To me this is all just negotiation tactics from Holland so he gets a better deal this time around. Likely following his own agent’s advice. When Holland signed up for his last contract we was essentially an unknown. Holland would probably have agreed to work for a pittance of what he got. It is Spider-Man after all. Now though Holland is a mega star and his Spider-Man movies, especially No Way Home have been box office smash shits.
In other words, Holland’s gonna wanna get a payday for another big contract, knowing possibly it could well be his last if he decides that’s him done with the role.

Though, given how things went down with both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield? Even after Holland retires from Spider-Man, you can never say he won’t be back.
Frankly I can see a three movie deal in the pipeline. Both Sony and Disney want to keep making money off of this character for a while yet.
What do you think of his comments as Tom Holland says he’s had conversations about future Spider-Man movies, but that’s as far as it goes for now? As always, leave any thoughts below.
