Has Moon Knight Season 2 just been teased by star Oscar Isaac and showrunner Mohamed Diab? It certainly seems that way. Moon Knight was originally not guaranteed to get a second season and we all knew that going in. However the ending of the series certainly teased more story. I think the only questions fans had was whether we’d see that story on film, or a Disney+ show? It seems like we may have an answer.
Check out Diab’s social media post below. In there is a link to a Tik Tok video in which Diab and Oscar Isaac tease Season 2. In response to whether Moon Knight will have a season 2, Isaac said, “why else would we be here in Egypt?”.

This news should please a lot of fans, myself included. Moon Knight was nothing like I figured it would be. However, it was also incredibly good fun and like other fans I want to know more about Jake Lockley. Diab has previously teased that if a Season 2 did happen, then it would heavily lean into Jake’s story.

As for why the gang are in Egypt, who knows? I think we know it’s not yet filming, but perhaps some location shooting? Or Isaac is just visiting with Diab so they can map out some ideas for Moon Knight Season 2? Either way, it does feel like Diab and Isaac have been given the green light by Marvel Studios. I guess we will have to wait for D23 to see if this becomes official soon?
