Just a couple of weeks ago, the first three stars to sign on for Ava DuVernay’s limited series Central Park Five were announced. Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel), Michael K. Williams (The Wire) and John Leguizamo (Summer Of Sam) will be a part of the project focusing on the five young African-American men who were wrongly convicted in the rape of a Central Park jogger in 1989. Now, three more names have been added to the project.
Felicity Huffman (American Crime), Jharrel Jerome (Moonlight), and Jovan Adepo (Fences) have accepted roles in the DuVernay project. Huffman will be playing Manhattan District attorney’s head prosecutor of the sex crime’s office, Linda Fairstein, while Jerome and Adepo will be playing two of the Central Park Five, Korey Wise, who served 12 years in prison, and Antron McCray, who served 6 years, respectively.

Central Park Five is slated to debut on Netflix sometime in 2019.
