After a weekend of official Star Wars news it’s back to the rumors. The rumor is that Obi-Wan Kenobi will feature Temuera Morrison as Commander Cody. This information comes from our friends over at KRT. Feel free to check their latest video below, however the streaming quality isn’t as great this time due to some internet issues that Noah and Corey were having.
The rumor is that Vader will be commanding a team of Clone troopers out hunting for Obi-Wan. KRT says that Temuera is back again, this time he will be playing Cody, the Clone most closely associated with Obi-Wan. Now, we kinda already had heard this from the guys, but for obvious reasons we had to wait for then to make the call. After this weekend’s reveals they finally felt confident enough to run with this information. They also mention the possibility of flashbacks to The Clone Wars, which is also something we have heard. Since he is back as Boba Fett anyway, it would make sense to have Morrison as Commander Cody for Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Oh and if anyone wonders why the Boba Fett show we rumored was not mentioned, I don’t know, but it is filming now, so it’s definitely happening. KRT also mention this, so just wanted to point that out. We also do not know why it has not been announced, but my guess is they will announce the Fett show once The Mandalorian Season 2 finishes.

It makes sense to me that Hayden has been brought back to do more than walk around in a Vader suit. As said, we have also heard that flashbacks could be employed here and that would require Hayden de-masked. However, I’m not 100% confident on this one. I am waiting to hear something more solid from our source once filming really gets underway. Trust me, if the show features flashbacks we will get confirmation of this quickly from our source.
The KRT guys also say they think there are two as yet unannounced animated projects coming. One of these cartoons they are confident will be a High Republic show, which feels on the money to me. The other, who knows? I have not heard much at all on the animated from from our source, it’s mostly been live-action updates.
