The Book of Boba Fett star Temuera Morrison talks playing Clones like Rex in other Star Wars shows. Before anyone get’s too excited Morrison isn’t spoiling anything here. In fact the way he words his comments make it seems like something he thinks would be cool to do down the line rather than say, he’s already filmed scenes as Rex or Cody already. However, that does not rule out the possibility other.
Asked about appearing as other characters who share his face by The Washington Post, Morrison replied:
“Well, there are people — I’m thinking of Captain Rex for one. He looks a little like me. There’s Commander Cody. What happened to those guys? There’s all those clone armies,” Morrison said. “That could be something fresh and new and exciting.”
Of course unless you are pretty green in the rumors community, you’ll know there have been rumors of Morrison as these other characters before. I recall at one point covering a story that someone though Rex was in Mando S2. He wasn’t, but since then there have been rumor’s of Cody showing up in Obi-Wan Kenobi, which is not something we can back up or debunk. The most likely place I would expect to see Rex might be in Ahsoka, but again, that’s just speculation on my part, for now.

If we hear anything solid about that we will share what we hear. In terms of readers and listeners asking us questions, this is the one that comes up most. Can we confirm Rex, or Cody in any of these shows? My answer remains the same sorry folks, nope. Not to say they are not in it, it’s just not information we have received from our sources.
