In yesterdays Disney earnings call, CEO Bob Chapek revealed that Ms Marvel and Andor will release in Q4 of 2022. Pinnochio was also mentioned as releasing in the same quarter Now that most likely means Q4 of the fiscal year of 222. Therefore you are looking at a release between July and September for both shows. Now when it comes to Andor this kinda works with everyone’s theories. Andor was always speculated to be about late Summer to Fall.
However with Ms Marvel this is quite a surprise. Remember at one point Marvel execs actually had the show releasing in 2021 and in terms of production schedule it was expected to be the next show to air on Disney+ for Marvel Studios after Hawkeye. My guess would therefore be that Ms Marvel will hit in the earlier part of Q4 and Andor at the end. I won’t make a guess at the Marvel schedule but I will for Star Wars.
My only unsure point is which comes first between Obi-Wan Kenobi and The Bad Batch Season 2? Gun to my head, I’ll say that Obi-Wan Kenobi is next, followed quickly by The Bad Batch Season 2 and then Andor will arrive around late August to September. That could leave a spot for The Mandalorian Season 3 around Fall to Winter time (Q1 of 23). I suspect we therefore won’t see Ahsoka until early 23, maybe Q2 or Q3. However that is just guess work and for all I know The Bad Batch could come up first. It’s hard to know just how far along Season of The Bad Batch is right now.

Chapek also said Q4 22 will also be the first time that tentpole projects from Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar would all release regularly within the same period. Perhaps up until this point there will always be some separation, but from that point crossovers will occur? It’s hard to know exactly what Chapek means here as three months is still a long time? Probably not enough time to show Ms Marvel, Pinocchio and Andor all without crossing one another though.
What do you think of the news Ms Marvel and Andor will release in Q4 of 2022? As always, leave any thoughts, or even your own guesses at the schedule below.
