After a much longer wait than fans expected, Netflix has finally released a teaser for the second season of their hit show Making a Murderer. The series, which debuted in 2015 followed the story of Steven Avery, who still at this time currently sits in prison for the murder of Teresa Halbach. The first season dealt with whether or not Avery was actually guilty of the crime, and the wild mishandling of the case by local law enforcement.

Executive Producers Moira Demos. Laura Ricciardi:
“Steven and Brendan, their families and their legal and investigative teams have once again graciously granted us access, giving us a window into the complex web of American criminal justice. Building on Part 1, which documented the experience of the accused, in Part 2, we have chronicled the experience of the convicted and imprisoned, two men each serving life sentences for crimes they maintain they did not commit. We are thrilled to be able to share this new phase of the journey with viewers.”
I binged this show with no regrets, I simply could not stop watching, I was absolutely captivated by the story of Steven Avery. I also spent a good amount of time yelling at the television, which I am looking forward to doing again. Very excited to watch this season, and see if justice is any closer to being done.
Season 2 of Making a Murderer will be comprised of 10 episodes and premieres on Netflix October 19.
