Netflix’s Disenchantment Returning For Part 3 In 2020

Back in 2018 Matt Groening, the creator of such popular animated series like The Simpsons and Futurama for FOX debuted a new animated project at Netflix titled, Disenchantment, which immediately received a two season order. The second season of this fantasy comedy animated series debuted this past September and now is looking forward to new episodes in 2020. This was confirmed with a new promo clip that Netflix dropped today via Twitter. Check it out below!

As we can see by the clip, it shows the cliffhanger ending by showing Bean and Elfo tied to a post surround by fire, before plummeting below ground into a dark catacomb. It seems like they are both surrounded by some type of creatures that with their eyes make out the words “PART 3 2020”. Then after a Netflix banner, we learn that they are surrounded by small creatures called Trogs and are face to face with Bean’s mother, Dagmar, who still has the mythical musical box.

Disenchantment is focused more on mature audiences. It takes place in the fantasy world of Dreamland, where the avid drinker Princess Bean, her eleven companion Elfo and her person demon Luci face off with magical mischief and royal intrigue as well as her having to deal with her legacy and expectations. The voice cast of the series is lead by Abbi Jacobson as Bean, Eric Andre as Luci and Nat Faxon asa Elfo. Joining them are the voices of John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, David Herman, Matt Berry, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, Noel Fielding and Lucy Montgomery.

This has been a very fun animated series on Netflix and I look forward to continue to follow Bean and her friends on her journey. With the series having been green lit for another two seasons that means that we can probably expect to get part 4 in 2021.
