Netflix’s The Kissing Booth 3 Trailer Has Joey King Back in Romantic Shenanigans

The Kissing Booth 3 from Netflix with Joey King

Admittingly, The Kissing Booth was a guilty teen movie pleasure that no expected to go beyond one movie. With the likeable, funny and goofy lead with Joey King, the romantic comedy became a franchise with the next installment The Kissing Booth 3 just around the corner for the end of summer.

The next film has Elle trying to make one last memorable summer before embarking to college. This time around, she has a summer bucket list of activities to do with her friends. While bonding with her BFF and her boyfriend, she is at a crossroads for her college decision.

The cast also includes Joel Courtney, Jacob Elordi, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Meganne Young, and Molly Ringwald.

Here’s the official logline for The Kissing Booth 3:

It’s the summer before Elle heads to college, and she’s facing the hardest decision of her life: whether to move across the country with her dreamy boyfriend Noah or fulfill her lifelong promise to go to college with her BFF Lee. Whose heart will Elle break?

Vince Marcello, who directed the previous two movies, returns to the helm from the script written by him and Jay S. Arnold.

After checking out this trailer, The Kissing Booth franchise follows a similar story with another Netflix popular series To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before with Lana Condor. However, that series ended with the third movie for the franchise. There’s no indication at this time that The Kissing Booth 3 will be the last film of the series, but it is a popular series all thanks to Joey King.

On the other hand, the big question is whether the “kissing booth” makes another appearance in the third film or if they abandoned that entire concept altogether.

The Kissing Booth 3 streams on Netflix on August 11.
