Last week’s episode of Disney+’s The Mandalorian is probably one of my least favorite episodes of the series so far. I didn’t feel like much really happened. Although depending on what happens next week, this episode could have been a tease of things to come. Unfortunately one of the more memorable things about this latest episode was Baby Yoda’s appetite.

NFC Talks Space Frogs and Ice Spiders in This Mandalorian Recap

In this episode titled, Chapter 10: The Passenger, we meet a Frog Lady with an incubation canister that contains her unfertilized eggs. This amphibious alien needs passage to another planet where her husband resides so that he can fertilize her eggs. In return for a ride, she claims that her husband can tell the Mandalorian where to find other Mandalorians. During the ride to that planet, a hungry and curious Baby Yoda opens the canister and eats some of the Frog Lady’s eggs. Throughout the episodes, this happens a few more times to the horror of the Mandalorian.

THE CHILD WITH EGG CANISTER

The moment is apparently so memorable that Funko Pop! has already a new figure to commemorate it. During this week’s Mando Mondays promotion, they released “The Child with Canister” Pop figure that you can check out down below!

As you can see the figure includes an excited and hungry Baby Yoda coveting the Frog eggs in the canister. The figure retails for $24.99 each. In my opinion, it’s a messed up moment for the Frog Lady that is just trying to get her eggs fertilized. It is interesting that in the episode, I don’t think Baby Yoda ever gets caught by her eating her kids. I also now wonder if this will have any significance going forward?
