Still with me? Cool! So we all know that the upcoming Black Widow film will be a prequel thanks in no small part to the character’s death in Avengers: Endgame during the Time Heist. What we don’t know is almost anything else. Back in March, I wrote on a rumor (HERE) on the potential for Taskmaster to appear as a villain in the film. Now, thanks to some set photos, we also know the second Black Widow, Yelena Belova, will appear in the film as well. Or at least her locker will.

Okay, it does appear that there’s a blonde stunt double with a red-headed stunt double and that probably means Yelena is in the film and not just her locker. In the comics, both ladies were trained in the Red Room and became spies for Mother Russia but also became rivals when Belova was sent to kill Natasha. Belova eventually stopped being evil (sometimes), much like Natasha (also sometimes), and even teamed up with her former mark at times. Is this scene during a joint mission, during training, or maybe after they become friends again? No idea, but we’ll hopefully find out next year as this all but confirmed to be one of the two 2020 Marvel films scheduled.
