New Captain Marvel Motion Poster Promises To Take Us Higher, Further, Faster

Whilst news is understandably not pouring out of the various movie studios right now, Marvel have been keen to keep Captain Marvel in audiences minds as 2019 arrived. With a new TV spot covered on New Year’s Eve, Marvel also released a cool new motion poster on New Years Day. Check it out below.

The motion poster doesn’t bring us anything new and serves probably just to remind fans that Captain Marvel will be shooting into theaters on March 8th.

Set in 1995, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds.

I am really looking forward to seeing Captain Marvel, but I really don’t want to see much of any new footage now, so this writer hopes we are only sharing alternate looks at the content we have already seen up until March. Our own Kyle Malone of The Cantina has predicted that Captain Marvel might struggle to get the box office numbers releasing less than 2 months from Avengers: Endgame and Nick Doll of Breaking Geek predicts that Shazam! will be the movie to suffer from a crammed superhero schedule in March and April.

I guess I can only speak for myself, but I am definitely there opening weekend for both Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame, Shazam! and Hellboy I am already thinking can wait for home release. But we’ll see how things pan out by April, they can run from it, dread it, but still Avengers: Endgame arrives.

What do you think of the new motion poster and which movies are you planning to see this Spring? Share any thoughts down in the usual place below.
