New Crunchyroll Original Series Noblesse Trailer Premiered

Crunchyroll recently shared a brand new trailer for the upcoming Crunchyroll Original series Noblesse, which will premiere in October. The series will be an anime adaptation of the WEBTOON series of the same name, written by Jeho Son and illustrated by Kwangsu Lee. And speaking of, the pair are heading to Virtual Crunchyroll Expo September 4 – 6. Crunchyroll has announced that we can expect to get a sneak peek of the series at the event. To hold us over, for now, check out the new trailer.

Voice Cast

Additionally, Crunchyroll has announced the cast for the series, which will include Tarusuke Shingaki as Cadis Etrama di Raizel. You may remember Tarusuke as Mirio in My Hero Academia. Frankenstein (yes, Frankenstein) will be played by Daisuke Hirakawa, and M-21 will be played by Kousuke Onishi, who played Nenhart in Fairy Tail. Tashiro Yusuke’s character will be played by Ryota Iwasaki, who played Inasa in My Hero Academia. And last for the casting, Yohei Hamada Bathin will be playing Kase Manabu.

Noblesse is being directed by Yasutaka Yamamoto, with Shunsuke Tada as chief director, Sayaka Harada on series composition, and Akiharu Ishii handling character designs and chief animation supervision.

Synopsis

Here is a brief synopsis of Noblesse:

Raizel awakens from his 820-year slumber. He holds the special title of Noblesse, a pure-blooded Noble and protector of all other Nobles. In an attempt to protect Raizel, his servant Frankenstein enrolls him at Ye Ran High School, where Raizel learns the simple and quotidian routines of the human world through his classmates. However, the Union, a secret society plotting to take over the world, dispatches modified humans and gradually encroaches on Raizel’s life, causing him to wield his mighty power to protect those around him…

After 820 years of intrigue, the secrets behind his slumber are finally revealed, and Raizel’s absolute protection as the Noblesse begins!

Sounds good to me. The trailer, art, and voice cast has definitely piqued my interest. I’ll definitely check this one out once it premieres. So expect more news to come on these Crunchyroll Original series because they have taken over anime this summer. If you haven’t checked out Tower of God or The God of High School, I definitely recommend those two if you are looking for an action-packed anime to dive into.
