Tonight will be the second episode of season 5 of Fox’s Gotham. Last weeks premiere episode gave us a look into No Mans Land. Anyone remaining in Gotham has been left to fend for themselves with no help or aid from the outside world. Different sections of the city are now run by different groups, like Oswald Cobblepot, the GCPD, the scarecrow and Barbara to name a few. But a new promo for this weeks episode titled Trespassers offers us our first look at yet another group. Check it out above!

As you can see Jim Gordon, played by Ben McKenzie, and Harvey Bullock, played by Donal Logue, travel into an area that Bullock describes as a “cesspit even before the rest of the world turned it’s back on us”, then we also learned that after the events that left Gotham on their own, that section of town never regained power, leaving that place to be known as the Dark Zone. We then saw the GCPD convoy attacked as a woman and her gang stepped out of the shadows, revealing her skull painted face.

Here is the synopsis for this week’s episode:
Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Bullock (Donal Logue) investigate a location where several kids have been kidnapped as part of a plan to get out of Gotham City. Barbara (Erin Richards) proves to be an unlikely ally to Gordon. Meanwhile, Bruce (David Mazouz) looks into an alleged witch with healing powers for Selina (Camren Bicondova) and Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) deals with demons of his own on the all-new “Trespassers” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, Jan. 10 (8:00-9:00PM ET/PT) on FOX.
