WARNING: POSSIBLE MINOR SPOILERS FOR THE THIRD SEASON OF YOUNG JUSTICE: OUTSIDERS

After so many years of waiting for a third season, last week via the DC Universe streaming service we finally got the first three episodes of Young Justice: Outsiders. It has been very well received by fans and currently sits on Rotten Tomatoes with a one hundred percent critics score and a ninety percent audience score. But it looks like the creators of Young Justice have left us an interesting Easter egg in the series’ episode titles.

Although only a few episodes have been released, the fan site YoungJustice.tv has a listing of all twenty six episodes and CBR noticed something very interesting about them, which if you look at them don’t seem like much but when you list them together, you may notice a major reference to something very powerful in the DC Universe. Check it out!

Princes All
Royal We
Eminent Threat
Private Security
Away Mission
Rescue Op
Evolution
Triptych
Home Fires
Exceptional Human Beings
Another Freak
Nightmare Monkeys
True Heroes
Influence
Leverage
Illusion of Control
First Impression
Early Warning
Elder Wisdom
Quiet Conversations
Unknown Factors
Antisocial Pathologies
Terminus
Into the Breach
Overwhelmed
Nevermore

When you take the first letter of each episode title, it forms an ominous sentence, PREPARE THE ANTI-LIFE EQUATION. This should be a very familiar term for DC Comics fans as it’s a reference to the mathematical formula that is often pursued by the Jack Kirby creation and ruler of Apokolips, Darkseid. If he ever got a hold of the Anti-Life Equation, he would have control over all sentient beings and ruler of the entire cosmos. It is considered one of the most powerful items in the DC Universe.

This makes a lot of sense because if you remember at end of the second season of Young Justice, Vandal Savage was seen coming out of a Boom Tube on Apokolips where he shook hands with Darkseid. This cliff hanger left many fans wondering what was next for this evil duo, only to be left waiting for years for a third season. But luckily for us, that third season is here, and if this is a major clue of things to come then we are in for an awesome third season.
