A new House of the Dragon Season 3 teaser trailer is here and it shows us a glimpse at a land thrown into war. Everyone seems to be on one side or the other and both sides have massive dragons.
House of the Dragon Season 3 begins on June 21 on HBO. Check it out,
Of course, some fans of source book ‘Fire & Blood’ will have a fair idea what is on the horizon for Season 3. However, we never know exactly because as we’ve seen previously, the show is making changes from the books. I won’t get into any specifics here, but there was at least one moment in that trailer that jumped out to me as not being in the books.
Season 1 was universally praised by critics, fans and creator George R. R. Martin, including the changed made. However, that positivity faded big time in Season 2, as small changes seemed to take away from, rather than add to the source material. Fans were unhappy, and my ratings got lower as Season 2 progressed. Then we had GRRM launch a scathing criticism, which was then deleted around showrunner Ryan Condal.

As Season 3 began, there was a breakdown in relationship between GRRM and Condal which has meant Martin taking a back seat on anything HoTD.
I guess the question is, fill Season 3 pulls things back in the right direction, or continue to head towards some major issues in this story’s resolution?
We will find out beginning June 21 this year.
