New Joker Set Photos Show Him Getting Hit By A Car

The DC Extended Universe may have had a rough first handful of films, but the future of it looks pretty darn bright. Earlier today, we got a brand-new trailer for their next film, Aquaman, and it continues to look pretty strong, especially when compared to the universe’s early offerings. But the DCEU isn’t all DC has going for it on the film front. We can’t forget about the Joker film starring Joaquin Phoenix.

This film started its production several weeks back, and ever since director Todd Phillips first revealed Phoenix’s take on the Clown Prince of Crime, we’ve had plenty of glimpses of him in his full attire in its various set photos. Now, that grand tradition of set photos continues with a new batch from Just Jared.

The photos show off Phoenix running around the city streets in his colorful clown costume, but that isn’t all he’s doing. There are also a couple shots of him getting hit by a taxi and bouncing off the hood of the car. There are a few other photos of him walking around in his Arthur Fleck attire, but little else.

To me, Joker continues to look pretty stunning in his outfit, and I can’t wait to see how his performance comes across in action. But what do you think? Do any of these images get you excited for the film? Let us know your thoughts down below!
