I can’t say that I am a huge fan of this franchise, but I do remember seeing the old cartoons a time or two. I also understand that while it may not be my cup of tea, the franchise holds some of Disney’s most iconic characters, and the movie does look very wholesome and heartwarming, and should be a hit with young children and older fans who grew up with the characters.

As mentioned above, the film stars Ewan McGregor in the titular role along with Hayley Atwell. Providing the voices for the beloved characters are Jim Cummings as Pooh and Tigger, Brad Garrett as Eeyore, Toby Jones as Owl, and Peter Capaldi as Rabbit. Christopher Robin is directed by Marc Forster from a screenplay written by Allison Schroeder and Alex Ross Perry.

Christopher Robin finds it’s way into the heart of moviegoers and into theaters August 3.
