Netflix has just dropped a new teaser for Stranger Things 2, and the mystery behind this series only gets more intriguing. While marketing behind this new season has been non-stop for the past month or so, the actual footage we’ve seen has been restricted mostly to that the Super Bowl trailer, the Comic-Con trailer, and that one clip from the game.

This weird “Nosebleed” teaser starts off with a shot of Eleven before flickering over to an older face undergoing similar nosebleeds. From there, we see a lot of quick quick imagery along with the person, we’re assuming, calling out lines like “Sunflowers. Three to the right. Four to the left. Rainbow,” among others.

The older face seems to match up with Eleven’s mother, who we saw in the first season of the show, and it also looks like she underwent (or is undergoing) similar type of treatment to Eleven herself.

Stranger Things 2 is set to pick up nearly a year after the events in the first season. However, things aren’t necessarily well. Ever since Will came back from the Upside Down, he’s been having these weird visions, and they’ll no doubt play into the plot of the series.
