A new TV spot for The Mandalorian Season 2 was shared around social media later yesterday. Check it out below, however there is only minimal new footage. Saying that, this is only the second trailer we have seen for The Mandalorian Season 2 so any new footage is analysed intensely by the fans. The Mandalorian Season 2 kicks off on October, 30th. I’d take a guess we may see some more variations on this trailer before we get to that premier date. Check it out.

As you can see, the majority of this trailer is familiar. However, you will notice that the action scene after The Child closes himself up was only heard, and not seen in that original trailer. Here we can see some of the action unfold in what appears to result in a sort of Mexican stand-off. There is also a scene showing Mando firing blasters inside a cave, this was also a new shot and some fans have widened the aspect ratio. From what they can tell, it looks as though Mando is fighting some lizard creature, or at least it looks something akin to that.

Considering how little we know about the plot of The Mandalorian Season 2? I guess that’s about as much as we can say for now? LRM‘s own Shockey already broke down the previous trailer and tried to work out all the planets shown in that trailer. There is certainly nothing of insight I could add further. Until we see one or two episodes of El Mando Season 2, we are not going to be able to speculate too accurately.
Remember, Kyle Malone and I will be recording special podcasts after we watch each new episode of Season 2. We will be starting that this week, so we can discuss Season 1.
