While we are all obsessing over the new Avengers: Infinity War trailer, let us now forget we are getting Westworld Season 2 just five days before the cinematic event to end all cinematic events!

Deadline has a set of new photos from Westworld Season 2, including some curious pairings of hosts and humans.Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) and Charlotte Hale (Tessa Thompson), a host who thought he was a human and one of the investors in Westworld. So, maybe Bernard wants to help us human folk… at least for a while?

Of course, the Man in Black (Ed Harris) is back, and it looks like he had not trouble at all holding his own in the initial host uprising of Season 1.

Another host and human pair, with Maeve (Thandie Newman) and Lee Sizemore (Simon Quaterman) sizing up the situation in the facility. Why Maeve needs the writer of scenarios remains to be seen.

Teddy (James Marsden) and Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) together again and it feels so right!

I don’t yet know who this guy is, but he looks to be in charge of a military unit taking back Westworld? Maybe…

Dolores, the original, ready to take back Westworld from its creators.

Hector (Rodrigo Santoro) is back for another round of kill the humans.

Maeve! Again. Leader of the host resistance?

Bernard again, looking like he is supporting the humans who plan to take back the park.

Hey, it’s her! (Can’t find here on IMDB.) You know, the host that proved that there were two different timelines as she appeared to William when he was younger vs the Man in Black? What’s she up to?

Finally… it’s Bernard, with more human security including Ashley (Luke Hemsworth). Does he ever relate to his kind in this season?

Anyway, this is just a taste of Season 2 of Westworld.

The new season of Westworld premieres on HBO on April 22, 2018.
