The success of the inaugural season of NFL Tuesday Night Gaming has prompted the NFL and Enthusiast Gaming to double down on their commitment to innovative gaming experiences. Ed Kiang, VP of Video Gaming at the NFL, expressed his excitement, stating, “The NFL is doubling down on innovative gaming experiences, and with Season 2 we will uniquely engage with fans at the intersection of football, gaming, and community through our helmets-off approach to showcasing NFL players alongside leading gaming talent.”
In the upcoming season, NFL players and Legends will once again team up with prominent gaming creators to compete in popular video game titles across various genres. By blending sports, content creation, and competitive gaming, NFL Tuesday Night Gaming aims to bring together diverse fan communities and create an immersive viewing experience for young audiences.

To celebrate the commencement of the new season, NFL Tuesday Night Gaming will kick off with a special “field day” competition hosted by Quavo. This unique event, named NFL Tuesday Night Gaming Play Day, will feature four teams comprising celebrity talent from entertainment, music, gaming, and the NFL. The roster includes names like Desi Banks, Todd Gurley, MMG, J.I.D, and Rob49. The event, scheduled to take place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, will feature outdoor games such as NFL FLAG, egg tosses, and tug-of-war.
The event will be streamed on Twitch, allowing viewers to engage in real-time chat interactions and even influence the event’s proceedings. The special episode, set to premiere on September 5 from 1-4 p.m. EST, promises a nostalgic and entertaining start to the new season.
Innovative Format and Star-Studded Lineup
Season 2 of NFL Tuesday Night Gaming introduces a new team format led by top streamers and content creators. Each team captain has assembled a lineup of their favorite creators and friends, with the goal of enhancing fan engagement throughout the season. The season’s episodes will feature four teams competing in rotating two-game series. The culmination of each episode will involve a 1v1 Madden NFL Showmatch, pitting MMG, a prominent Madden streamer, against various NFL talents.
The lineup boasts an impressive array of top streamers and content creators, along with current and former NFL players. Notable names include TypicalGamer, NickEh30, QTCinderella, Symfuhny, Sykkuno, Jamaal Williams, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Fred Warner, DeSean Jackson, Chris Johnson, and more. Special guest appearances and additional programming are expected throughout the season, including a pre-show stream hosted by Esfand and Will Neff on Esfand’s Twitch channel every Monday at 7 p.m. EST.

Themed Episodes and Community Initiatives
Season 2 of NFL Tuesday Night Gaming will align with various NFL community initiatives. Themed episodes will coincide with events such as Latino Heritage Month, the NFL’s Crucial Catch partnership with the American Cancer Society, and the NFL’s Salute to Service, which honors the nation’s service members, veterans, and their families.
Furthermore, the series has awarded internships to four students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). These students will engage in virtual learning sessions with NFL TNG broadcast and production talent, culminating in an on-air appearance live from WePlay Studios in Los Angeles, the home of NFL Tuesday Night Gaming.
