According to some of the best connected insiders right now, there might be no Sinister 6 in No Way Home, it might only be a Sinister 5. We’ve all heard the rumors about who is involved in Spider-Man: No Way Home, but as yet the only villain officially conformed is Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock. However, Insiders have been certain for a long time that Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Defoe’s Goblin, Hayden Church’s Sandman and Ifans The Lizard are all present in the film. Just looking at the trailer with a keen eye and you can spot the presence of all 4. That’s in addition to Molina who of course is front and center. The likely reason Molina is heavily promoted is because the actor already admitted he was in it.
Given that Spider-Man is famous for fighting the Sinister 6, everyone just assumed there must be one other. Some had said Paul Giamatti’s Rhino could be in it. However both Big Screen Leaks and ViewerAnon have now said Rhino is not present. Secondly that as far as they know there are only 5 villains in the movie. Check out this Twitter conversation below.
BSL was the first to tell me the film didn't have Rhino and I've since had other sources tell me the same.
(Which is sad, as Paul Giamatti is a treasure in ASM2 and we would all be blessed to see more of him) https://t.co/5hLSN4EmRn

Big Screen Leaks says that the character is however referenced in the movie as a butt of jokes.

Of course, some fans simply won’t believe this, and maybe they have a point? It does seem odd to have only 5 villains for Spider-Man. So now fans are debating, whether these insiders are wrong, or someone like Mysterio, or an evil Doctor Strange take the sixth spot. I guess we may have to just wait and see on this one. The majority of the plot of this movie has been spoiled already. I’m absolutely fine wondering if there’s a secret sixth villain right up until release.

What do you think of this latest rumor? Would you be bummed if there’s no Sinister 6 in No Way Home, and instead only a Sinister 5, (though, doubting they’d use the name if only 5)? As always, any thoughts below.
