So that’s March 22nd for digital release and April 12th for physical. Given that there’s no guarantee we will get No Way Home on Disney+, I am pretty happy to pick up the 4k version on disk this April. However as said above, we are getting some new Disney+ content on March 16th. The Defenders shows which leave Netflix on March 1st, are now officially announced to be coming to Disney+ on the 16th. Check out the image below from the official press release today.
We already knew Moon Knight gets its premiere on March 30th. However all those Defenders shows coming over just a couple weeks after they leave Netflix is a bit of a surprise. This was always likely to happen, but I guess I didn’t expect it this quickly.

As you can see there is no mention of them appearing on either Hulu, or Star outside of the U.S. This has certainly confused some fans given the very mature themes and graphic content of those shows. Outside the U.S. if you have Star activated then it isn’t partitioned. On my profile I can see all content displayed no matter the age rating. However on my daughters profile, for example, it only shows the PG-13 and under material.
EDIT: A Hulu Rep has confirmed the shows are coming to Hulu in the U.S.

It therefore seems that the dates released above are for outside the U.S. only?

In the U.S. though, it seems Hulu is a separate option and one wonders whether Disney should simply bring the Star system home as it’s much easier to manage? Some fans are worried the content may be censored in order to fit in with a PG-13 rating. I certainly hope that’s not the case but there is no mention of anything like that in the press release, so we await clarification.
