‘Opposites React’ In New Teaser And Poster For Pixar’s Elemental

Elemental

Next summer we’ll see the next project from Disney/Pixar titled, Elemental. Pixar films bring all the feels as the animators and writers find different ways to reach every one of our emotions. This week Disney/Pixar released the first teaser trailer and poster for Elemental, which you can check out below!

Looks like we are going to be exploring Element City and how elements are able to co-exist together. Interestingly enough we’ll see how opposites attract with the two characters Ember and Wade. They are both featured in the poster. As always the setting looks beautiful. I love the vibrant colors.

The film is directed by Peter Sohn. He previously directed The Good Dinosaur animated feature film for Disney. As well as the short film, Partly Cloudy.

Here is the synopsis for Disney/Pixar’s Elemental

Check out the teaser trailer and a poster for Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental,” an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, where fire-, water-, land- and air-residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. Directed by Peter Sohn, produced by Denise Ream, and featuring the voices of Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie as Ember and Wade, respectively.

One interesting thing about the teaser and poster is that they don’t make it clear how its going to be released. This is significant because, besides Lightyear, the rest have gone straight to Disney+ after a history of success in theaters. True, a lot of this was because of the pandemic. But its still noteworthy to state that Turning Red, Luca, and Soul did not get a theatrical release.

Disney/Pixar’s Elemental is scheduled to be released on June 16, 2023.
