Orcs In The Rings of Power - Rumored Leaks About How They Are Seen In This Age

What about Orcs in The Rings of Power? Today we share some rumored leaks from FoF about how Orcs feature in the show and how they are viewed by the denizens of Middle-earth during this period. If you know any Tolkien knowledge you likely know that Orcs first appeared earlier in the First Age and were present in the Second Age and right through until the Third Age also. However, there was a period in the beginning of the Second Age in which Orcs were thought to be gone from the world.

That period was post the destruction of Beleriand in the War of Wrath when the Valar and the Host of the West finally assaulted and captured Morgoth. The majority of the Orcs perished alongside their creator and master’s downfall. However they did not all die out and were merely unheard of for quite some time. The entire top half of the content was essentially destroyed or sunk under the sea in this battle, so it’s understandable.

According to FoF’s latest leaks show, this is the scenario we will find ourselves in within The Rings of Power. They say the majority of people in Middle-earth believe that Orcs are now extinct, and were all destroyed in the First Age. However it seems when Orcs then attack Bronwyn’s village, the poop hits the fan as it were. Bronwyn is the herbs and healing lady we say in the Vanity Fair preview. We know Bronwyn has a relationship with the Elf we see catching the arrow in the trailer. Perhaps it is an Orc’s arrow he is catching?

FoF also say that there will be an important Orc character with lines and a story arc. Additionally there seem to be two different types of Orc’s. Smaller scout like Orcs and larger, more warrior like versions. The main Orc character is of the former smaller scout type. Lastly, it is claimed that sunlight will have an adverse effect on the Orcs in the show. This is a detail from the books which was rarely mentioned too much in the movies.

Well what do you think of how we are going to see Orcs in The Rings of Power? Is this the right way to go, if not how would you want to see things done? Thought below as always.
