Orphan: First Kill Trailer | Who Really Is Esther?

Today Paramount Pictures has given us our first look at the horror-thriller, Orphan: First Kill. This is a prequel to the 2009 horror hit, Orphan. In that film a husband and wife who had recently lost their baby. So they decided to adopt what they thought was a nine-year-old girl. Only to find out that there was something more sinister there than just a child. In this prequel, we’ll have the opportunity to see where Esther came from. Check out the trailer and poster below!

From the looks of the trailer, Esther was able to methodically work herself into a family that had been missing a girl. It will be fun to see the cat and mouse game between Esther and Julia Style’s character. I am very impressed that the same actress. Isabelle Fuhrman, will be taking on the role of Esther again since it has been thirteen years later. Also thumbs up to Paramount Pictures for allowing the audience to choose the way they can watch this film. Either in theaters, Paramount+, or just buying it digitally that way no one feels pressured one way or another.
