We have our first look at the action-thriller, Day Shift from Netflix. The film is written by Tyler Tice and Shay Hatten. The second of the two is also the writer for films like Army of the Dead, Army of Thieves, and John Wick: Chapter 3 Parabellum. In this film, we’ll have the joy of seeing Jamie Foxx and Snopp Dogg hunting down vampires for cash. Something that in the world set for us seems like a regular thing. From the looks of the trailer, Day Shift just looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun. I love the way the trailer starts off with Foxx’s character taking out what seems like an innocent grandma. Only to find out she is actually a vampire! The trailer does an excellent job at setting up the world that is going to be presented in the film. Leaving us now an opportunity to just enjoy the journey and action sequences which given the crew behind the film, should be very good.

Directing Day Shift is JJ Perry, who has done a lot of stunt work for John Wick, The Fate of the Furious, The Rundown, and a ton of others. We have seen stunt coordinators go on to be great filmmakers so I am excited to see what JJ Perry has to offer. Producers of the film are Shaun Redick, Yvette Yates Redick, Chad Stahelski, and Jason Spitz. Executive Producers are Foxx, Datari Turner, Charles J.D. Schlissel, Peter Baxter, and Alex Young.

Along with Foxx and Snoop Dogg the cast includes Dave Franco, Karla Souza, Meagan Good, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Oliver Masucci, Steve Howey, Scott Adkins and Zion Broadnax.
