Outlaw Posse | Jake Manley and Amber Reign Smith on Preparations for a Western

Jake Manley and Amber Reign Smith

Jake Manley and Amber Reign Smith had to make specific preparations for the Western film Outlaw Posse. Manley had to learn gunslinging as a lefty, while Smith learned Western dance moves and knife throwing. These are the skills that make their character unique in the Western town.

From Mario Van Peebles, who wrote, directed, and starred in this Western, Outlaw Posse also starred William Mapother, John Carroll Lynch, D.C. Young Fly, Mandela Van Peebles, Neil McDonough, Allen Payne, Cam Gigandet, M. Emmet Walsh, with Edward James Olmos, Cedric the Entertainer, and Whoopi Goldberg.

Here is the full synopsis:

1908. CHIEF (Mario Van Peebles) returns from years of hiding in Mexico to claim stolen gold hidden in the hills of Montana. In his quest, he reunites an ensemble of fresh and familiar faces—together, they fight off ANGEL, whose rationale for the gold leaves a trail of deception and dead bodies.
