We all know how tight-lipped franchises are. Which, let’s be honest, they have to be. Many of us, including myself, do not have the self-control to avoid possible spoilers. We just need to know, don’t we? With instant access to news, spoilers, and photos, stars have to be extremely careful regarding what they divulge in interviews and/or regular conversations. With the ongoing success of the Marvel franchise, secrecy is paramount. Owen Wilson recently discusses the level of secrecy in the MCU and an incident where he was not as tight-lipped as he should be.
“I let it slip I had a moustache for Mobius, I got an ominous text saying ‘Strike 1’. I don’t know who that was, we think it might have been Kevin Feige using a burner phone but that wasn’t confirmed.”

Owen Wilson is great as Mobius in Loki. I really enjoy him in that role, and find him to be one of the many bright spots in the series. Revealing with he has the moustache doesn’t seem like much, right? However, revealing the character is a big no-no. While the mysterious text seems somewhat humorous, it also appears serious. So, lesson learned! Marvel likes to keep their characters and stories close to the chest. This is so the audience can have the best possible viewing experience.

What do you think of the warning Owen Wilson got? Do you think it is a big deal, or does it enhance the viewing experience when we know as little as possible? Do you have the self-control to stay away from spoilers? Or, do you want to know, find out, then find yourself upset that you know (definitely me)? Leave your thoughts in the usual spot, and thanks for reading!
