Paramount Pictures Releases New Trailer and Poster For ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’

Since 1984 in the Terminator franchise, Skynet has done everything in it’s power to make sure that the nuclear holocaust the kicks off on August 29th, 1997 also known as Judgement Day. The last installment of the franchise Terminator: Genisys, in which Emilia Clarke starred as Sarah Conner did not do so well with critics or audiences.

Now in Terminator fashion Paramount Pictures has gone back in time to try and put a spark back in films by bringing back stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, James Cameron as a producer and the “R” rating for the next film titled Terminator: Dark Fate. Today Paramount Pictures has released it’s first full trailer which you can check out above and and a new poster, which you can check out below!

Tim Miller’s Terminator: Dark Fate picks up after the events of Cameron’s 1991 sequel Terminator 2: Judgement Day, where thanks to the convenience of time travel, they have been able to effectively “terminate” the events that happened in the previous three films. With that said it’s up to Sarah Conner to once again protect the world from Skynet and once again is forced to team up with one of the terminators.

Hamilton and Schwarzenegger are joined by Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna and Diego Boneta. The screenplay for the film is by Justin Rhodes, Billy Ray and David Goyer based off a story by Cameron, Charles Eglee, Josh Friedman, Goyer and Rhodes. Producers are Cameron and David Ellison. Executive producers are Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Edward Cheng, Miller, John J. Kelly, Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day is one of my favorite films of all time. I am excited to see if this film can fix a lot of the problems that the previous few installments had. What are your thoughts on the new trailer and artwork? Let us know in the comment section below!
