Pedro Pascal Cast In Wonder Woman 2

Pedro Pascal is so hot right now. (I know I have started many articles this way, but it’s true!)

Variety reports that the actor, best know for Game of Thrones, Narcos, and Kingsman: The Golden Circle, has just been cast in Wonder Woman 2.

Patty Jenkins is again directing the sequel that will of course star Gal Gadot as the title character. This will actually be the second time Pascal and Jenkins have collaborated, with Jenkins previously directing the TV movie Exposed, featuring Pascal.

The only other official casting announcement for the film was the report that Kristen Wiig will play the villainous Cheetah. There is no word on who Pascal will play, or what side of the fight he will end up on.

Jenkins is writing, directing, and producing the film which is slated for a November 1, 2019 release date, making it the next DC Extended Universe film after this December’s Aquaman and next April’s Shazam!

Pascal jump-started his career playing Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones. That allowed him to launch into Narcos, as the secondary main character in Season 1 and 2, taking on the role as main lead for Season 3. After falling in love with his work on Narcos, I was happy to see him get some pretty decent screen-time in Kingsman: The Golden Circle, so it was only a matter of time before DC or Marvel gobbled him up.

Are you as big a fan of Pedro Pascal as I am? Think he’ll deliver the goods in Wonder Woman 2? Let us know in the comment section below!
