Fans of Phineas and Ferb have another reason to celebrate as the beloved animated series gears up for its long-awaited return this summer on Disney Channel and Disney+. To mark the occasion, Marvel Comics is bringing Phineas, Ferb, and their iconic crew into the Marvel Universe with a special set of Phineas and Ferb Variant Covers for three of its biggest comic series: Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men.
These exclusive covers, set to hit comic stands in June, will showcase artwork by Phineas and Ferb co-creator and executive producer Dan Povenmire alongside Eisner-nominated cartoonist Jacob Chabot. The duo has reimagined Phineas, Ferb, their older sister Candace, their secret-agent pet Perry the Platypus, and more in legendary Marvel superhero roles.
Each variant pays homage to classic Marvel covers, featuring fun recreations of Rick Leonardi’s New Mutants #50, Jim Steranko’s Strange Tales #167, and John Romita’s Marvel Treasury Edition #2. Fans can expect to see Candace taking on the role of Magik, harnessing dark forces as the powerful mutant sorceress; Agent P stepping into the shoes of superspy Nick Fury; and Phineas, Ferb, Isabella, and Buford assembling as Marvel’s first family, the Fantastic Four.

This exciting crossover blends the inventive world of Phineas and Ferb with Marvel Comics’ storied history, creating a must-have collectible series for both comic enthusiasts and animation fans alike. The first two Phineas and Ferb Variant Covers have already been revealed, with the final variant cover, illustrated by Dan Povenmire, set to debut in the coming weeks.
