Pixar: New Video Shows Off Countless Easter Eggs From The Studio’s Shorts!

If you’re a fan of Pixar, chances are that you know the studio is renowned for more than their strong storytelling. From day one, they have been hiding all sorts of fun Easter eggs in their films. They started out as loving nods to each other’s work, and very quickly, they began to reference their own work.

Of course, these Easter eggs aren’t restricted to their features. Apparently, their short films are also jam-packed with all sorts of little goodies that many of us wouldn’t have noticed (because, let’s be real, not many of us watch these shorts more than one or two times).

Well, Pixar themselves has gone through the trouble of putting together a video that points out a ridiculous number of Easter eggs in their shorts. If you haven’t already, be sure to check them out above!

Of the many fun Easter eggs, some of my favorites include the inclusion of Muppet characters Statler and Waldorf in “Presto,” the inclusion of certain toys in Toy Story 3 from the original “Tin Toy” short that launched the Toy Story idea 30 years ago, and the nod to 101 Dalmatians in the short “Day and Night.”

What did you think of the video, and what are some of your personal favorite shorts? Let us know your thoughts down below!
