This August will be the release of the action thriller, Prey. This is will be the latest installment in the Predator franchise. Thirty-five years after its original release back in 1987, audiences will be taken back in time and witness how this creature interacts with the Comanche Nation. Today 20th Century Studios released a new trailer for the film as well as a poster. You can see both down below!
Prey seems like it’s really going to focus heavily on sound. Something that can be taken advantage of if you have a good soundbar at home or any other type of audio system. One thing that has bothered me about this film from the beginning is that we are not going to get a chance to see it in theaters. This film seems like it would be fantastic in a Dolby Atmos or RPX room to really drive up the chills. It will be released as a Hulu Original in the United States, Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ under the star banner everywhere else.

One thing that is going to be historic about this film is the language options. Prey will be available on Hulu in Comanche as a language option. Or with Comanche subtitles. This is the first time a feature film on a direct-to-consumer streaming platform has been available in the Comanche language in its entirety. As mentioned before the filmmakers were committed to making sure they had an accurate portrayal of the Comanche. With that bringing a level of authenticity that rings true to its people.
