Over his career writer/director Jon Favreau has spread his wonderful work over different genres. I first remember Favreau as Monica’s billionaire boyfriend turned MMA fighter on Friends. Even before that he appeared on Seinfeld as a clown, I recognized his voice and sure enough when I looked him up on IMDb, there was his credit.
While the aforementioned appearances are certainly beloved, we can’t forget that along with Kevin Feige and Robert Downey Jr., Jon Favreau helped to give life into what became the gold standard of on-screen interconnected worlds, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, by directing Iron Man. Favreau recently spoke with Variety, and talked about how even for him, he isn’t always sure waht’s going on with the films in the MCU, you can check out what he had to say below.
“With the Marvel things, they have so many films happening at the same time and all of them interweave with one another. Oftentimes you’re not exactly sure what’s happening, even me. I’m an executive producer on Endgame, I didn’t always know what was going on,”

I like to think of it as if it’s something of a spy agency, as far as levels of clearance with information on the films, of which Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo are most likely on the lowest level. I guess everyone doesn’t have to know what’s going on all the time, as long as someone does, and my guess is that someone is Kevin Feige.
