Some leaked promo art for Love and Thunder shows Jane and Thor’s costumes. This look is presumably how both will appear in the movie when it hits theatres on July 8th. The image below was posted as you can see by @multiversomofc, though they credit @JackkFrostttt for providing them with the image.

This also matches up with that poster which director Taika Waititi said was fake and then turned out to be legit after all. Thor himself is wielding Stormbreaker as one would expect. Additionally there is a definite blue twinge to his armor this time around. As for Jane her ‘Thor’ armor definitely looks more similar in design to Thor from his earlier movies, perhaps that’s intentional?

We have known ever since it was announced that Love and Thunder would see Jane become Mighty Thor herself. We also know that the famous comic storyline involving Jane having cancer is in play in the movie also. How that will all work itself out is yet to be determined.

We also know Russell Crow is playing Zeus and Christian Bale is Gor the God Butcher. In addition several BTS photo’s have revealed some returning Thor veterans from previous movies. Plus the Guardians of the Galaxy will appear in at least the opening portion of this movie. The last time we see Thor he is off on a space adventure with the Guardians. Whether they remain involved in this plot, or just drop the God of Thunder off back home remains to be seen? Oh and Taika said we are getting Space Sharks as well, so there’s that.
