Are Tessa Thomson and Lashana Lynch both in The Marvels? That’s the latest Barside Buzz that’s come from an IG post by the actor who plays Kamal Khan’s mom in both Ms. Marvel and The Marvels. Whilst we don’t have that original IG post, we do have a screen shot from that post below.

In the image posted by @halobearers you can see an actor line up for the movie and both Thomson and Lynch are there. Whilst Thomson may be a cool detail and a cameo we didn’t know about, Lynch is perhaps the bigger deal. If you recall, we found out in WandaVision that Maria Rambeau died sometime during the Blip of Cancer. Therefore in the timeline of The Marvels Maria would be dead. Could this be some kind of flashback Monica has about a falling out between Carol and Maria? Monica didn’t seem too keen on Carol the last time we saw her.

‘THE movie’ I’m sure that’s supposed to say. At least I can’t think of any other use for YBE?

As for Tessa Thomson, Valkyrie being present will surely spawn more shipping speculation between Valk and Carol. We don’t know for sure what Carol’s sexuality is yet in the MCU. In the comics she went on to marry Rhodey at one point. However that has never stopped fans from speculating, and shipping these two for whatever reason. I guess we will fins out in due time.
