Is the real Spider-Man 3 title being announced today? Yesterday saw a ton of trolling around the titles for Spider-Man 3. Some fans think this was a hint at the many Multiverses rumored to show up in the sequel. Some that Holland, Batalon, and the other regular cast members were just doing some trolling.
I guess the answer to that question remains to be seen. However, according to scooper Daniel Richtman, all of this may have been to get things hyped up ahead of a release of the real title. Richtman says he’s heard the real Spider-Man 3 title will be announced around 6am PST. This article is publishing around half an hour prior to that time, so I guess you won’t have long to wait and find out. Daniel RPK has shared that the title for the third Marvel Studios Spider-Man film will be dropping today (February 24th) at 6:00 A.M. PST! He is unsure if we will be getting a teaser as well, but a title is coming!

The thing is, whilst Richtman tends to share some out there things on his Patreon, his record for this kind of scoop is pretty good. Trailer dates, announcements coming, that sort of detail. So who knows with this one. I do have a hard time imagining that Marvel would make an announcement today, when they could do it during WandaVision on Friday. Or wait till next Friday and announce the title as a post credit at the end of WandaVision? Surely either of these options would be better marketing strategy than today? Yet, I’m hardly an expert on marketing, so maybe I am way out of line on this one?
