Peter Fabiano, Resident Evil Producer joins Bungie. Fabiano took to social media to say goodbye to everyone at Capcom where he was worked for years. He also said where he was going and that’s to Bungie, developers of the Destiny series. Bungie are probably most famous for creating the Halo franchise, though for the last decade have been focused on their own IP. Check it out.
Thanks to everyone both in and outside the studio that have supported me over the years. I’ve taken a new position at Bungie working with some great people and continuing my journey. “Eyes up guardian.”

The Resident Evil franchise has had a bit of a boost in recent years, so fans were sad to hear Fabiano was leaving. I am a big fan of the Destiny franchise, but I’m not really sure where that franchise is going? Destiny 2 has another two full years to run come this September. However, after that, who knows? There were rumors Bungie were working on another game, though rumors also said it was a different IP. Yet, fans have also noticed that current language from Bungie seems to hint that Destiny will not be finished for good on September, 2023?

Fabiano’s ‘Eyes up Guardian’ is a clear Destiny reference. So I’m guessing to begin with at least he is working on Destiny 2. That is, unless Bungie are also working on a Destiny 3 game in secret? the third game was originally supposed to be around this year, but plans were changed. Instead Destiny 2 was given three extra years of updates to finish off the story narrative.
I’m intrigued for sure, but for now I don’t have all the answers. All we can say for any certainty now is that a Resident Evil producer joins Bungie. Anything else is pure speculation for now, so watch this space.
What do you think of this story if you’re a Resident Evil Fan? What about Destiny fans out there? Leave any thoughts below.
