The beloved isekai phenomenon Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- is bringing its magic to Korea this winter with an exclusive Special Stage event at Anime x Game Festival 2025, one of the largest subculture conventions in Asia.
Following the world premiere screening of Season 4, Episode 1 at Lucca Comics & Games in Italy this November, fans will have another major opportunity to celebrate the series as it heads to KINTEX 1 Exhibition Hall in Korea on December 7.
Confirmed guests include Yusuke Kobayashi, the voice behind the ever-determined protagonist Subaru Natsuki, and Satomi Arai, the voice of the fan-favorite spirit Beatrice. Together, the pair will appear live on stage from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the Red Stage in Hall 5, sharing behind-the-scenes stories, character insights, and their excitement for the upcoming season.
The event promises to “deliver the charm of Re:ZERO directly to local fans in Korea,” marking a rare and exciting appearance for the cast outside of Japan.
Season 4: What Awaits Subaru and His Allies
Season 4 of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- continues the emotional and perilous saga of Subaru and his companions. Following the brutal conflict at the Watergate City of Priestella, the group faces the devastating consequences of the Authority of Gluttony — Rem remains in a deep, unending sleep, while Crusch’s memories and even Julius’s name have been consumed.
Seeking a way to restore what was lost, Subaru sets his sights on the mysterious Pleiades Watchtower, home to the “wise man” Shaula — an omniscient figure said to hold every form of knowledge. The journey will lead Subaru and his allies across the deadly Auguria Dunes, a vast desert filled with violent storms, monstrous mabeasts, and unimaginable trials — even the “Sword Saint” Reinhard failed to conquer it.
With Tappei Nagatsuki returning as the original author and Shinichirou Otsuka providing character designs, fans can expect the same intense storytelling and emotional depth that made Re:ZERO a global hit.
