Rian Johnson Celebrates The Last Jedi By Cutting Up A Porg…Cake

Rian Johnson, who divided the Star Wars fanbase like never before, has now literally cut one of the characters in half, or rather, a cake made to look like one of the characters. During a party for the marketing team that worked on Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Rian Johnson had the honor of slicing through a very realistic porg cake. Johnson shared the event in a video post on his Instagram. You can check out the post below:

Johnson first split the porg right between the eyes, and then proceeded to slice it horizontally across the neck. Johnson finished by stabbing the porg right in the stomach, I feel the porg’s pain as that is how I felt walking out of the theater after seeing The Last Jedi. For me this is the perfect analogy of Johnson’s mark left on the Star Wars universe.

Alright, that’s probably enough on my bitterness toward TLJ, anyone who reads my articles knows how I feel. The event looks like it was a lot of fun and I would have loved to have been part of it and worked on the marketing team. In all honesty, I would gladly scrub the floors of Lucasfilm with a toothbrush, just to be a part of it.

That cake looks pretty good doesn’t it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below!
