While it is very possible we will watch Star Wars: Episode 9 and the final season of Game of Thrones long before we get a new season of Rick and Morty, AdultSwim has released a music video to promote the AdultSwim Festival later this year in Los Angeles. The video features a song by hip-hop group Run The Jewels.

The video shows Rick and Morty as special agents that looks like a mash-up of Pulp Fiction and Men in Black taking on the roles of what appears to be a  in pursuit of what appears to be an alien fetus, their journey takes them to various places across the universe and even into different dimensions.

The video ends with Rick getting rid of a disposable Morty and then looking in a small briefcase, with a glow reflecting off his face, just like Travolta in Pulp Fiction.

As I mentioned above this may be the only Rick and Morty fans get for a while, and judging from past seasons, it could be a long while. It was about a year and a half between the end of Season 2 and when Season 3 was back for a regular airings.
